Tynt’s New Tools Provide Key Insights Into How Publishers’ Content is Being Shared
San Francisco, CA (February 2, 2011) – Tynt Multimedia Inc, the premiere service empowering over 600,000 online publishers and websites to track and benefit from the sharing activity of their combined 1 billion unique users, today announces Tynt’s Publisher Tools. Tynt Publisher Tools adds four new features specifically designed for Publishers: Tynt Keywords, Tynt Social, Tynt Content and Tynt Publisher API. These new features allow publishers to easily access and see how their audience is engaging with their content. Now publishers will be to take action based on where their content is living within the social stream and what words are driving traffic to and from their site.
Tynt Keywords
Tynt Keywords tell publishers what searches/keywords are bringing readers to the site and more importantly what searches/keywords are causing users to leave. Publishers generally know the search terms that bring users to their site and the type of content the user viewed while on the site. But, prior to Tynt Keywords, publishers had no way to know what users are leaving to find, which is exactly what Tynt Keywords provides. http://www.tynt.com/tynt-keywords-keep-your-users/
Tynt Social
Tynt Social allows publishers to view where their links and content go when they’re shared, which lets publishers understand what specific content is being shared where. Since sharing through copy and paste is still the predominant way that users share web content, Tynt allows publishers to see more sharing actions that any other single metric. http://www.tynt.com/tynt-social-measure-your-social-impact/
Tynt Content
Tynt Content, like the other features in the product suite, is fueled by the unique data that Tynt gathers about user engagement. This feature is designed for writers and editors and provides information about content and keywords that users are engaging with. This allows writers, editors and content strategists to understand what users want and fill content gaps by creating new content, cross-linking keywords to existing articles, or promoting articles to re-engage users to keep them on the site longer. http://www.tynt.com/tynt-content-measure-engagement/
Tynt Publisher API
The Tynt Publisher API gives publishers access to the data on their dashboard in whatever format they choose. Publishers no longer need to worry about logging in to another dashboard to access their data; they are able to access it from any system they want, including other analytics systems by simply telling Tynt that they want their data through an API and reciting their unique publisher code.
Tynt Social, Tynt Keywords and the Publisher API are new additions to the pre-existing Tynt SEO (formerly called Tynt Insight), which helps publishers build SEO by building links, generating traffic and promoting the publishers brand when their content is copied and shared.
“The additions we’ve made to create the Tynt Publisher Tools are results of working closely with our many publisher partners to solve real problems,” said Derek Ball, CEO of Tynt. “We’ve established a tool that publishers have proven is useful and are now able to give them access to the advanced analytics they want to see in a unique way that makes sense to each publisher.”
More than 600,000 publishers are leveraging the power of Tynt, including Time Warner and Hearst publications to allow them greater insight into their audience’s interaction with their content.
